Letting things to happen as it is

What you want is not always what you get.

What you crave is not always right.

What you desire is not always what you need.

What you wish for is not always what God has to offer.

We always want to things to happen as we want it, and if things happened differently we only dishearten ourselves.

It doesn’t mean that if you want something it is the one fated for you. Having what you want is not the greatest thing that will happen. But it is having what you need that will be the greatest thing that will happen. We may not want the things that God has given to us, but only God knows what’s best for us.

NOW, DON'T JUST PRAY FOR YOUR WANTS TO HAPPEN ALONE BUT ALSO FOR THE BEST THINGS TO TAKE PLACE.

LIGHT ON....( CARRIER SINGLE FROM DAVID COOK'S UPCOMING ALBUM)

Light On
----------
"Never really said too much
Afraid it wouldn’t be enough
Just try to keep my spirits up
When there’s no point in grieving
Doesn’t matter anyway
Words could never make me stay
Words will never take my place
When you know I’m leaving

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Something I rely on to get home
One I can feel at night
A naked light, a fire to keep me warm
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
And when it’s late at night you can look inside
You won’t feel so alone

You know we’ve been down that road
What seems a thousand times before
My back to a closing door and my eyes to the seasons
That roll out underneath my heels
And you don’t know how bad it feels
To leave the only one that I have ever believed in

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Something I rely on to get home
One I can feel at night
A naked light, a fire to keep me warm
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
And when it’s late at night you can look inside
You won’t feel so alone, ooh, yeah

Sometimes it feels like we’ve run out of luck
When the signal keeps on breaking up
When the wires cross in my brain
You’ll start my heart again
When I come along, yeah

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Something I rely on to get home
One I can feel at night
A naked light, a fire to keep me warm
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
And when it’s late at night you can look inside
You won’t feel so alone

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
And when it’s late at night you can look inside
You won’t feel so alone"

Law of Attraction

"if you really want something and believe it's possible, you'll probably get it" but that putting a lot of attention and thought onto something you don't want means you'll probably get that too."

A more modern consensus among New Thought thinkers is that the Law of Attraction says people's thoughts (both conscious and unconscious) dictate the reality of their lives, whether or not they're aware of it.

In 2006, a film entitled The Secret (2006 film) based on the "Law of Attraction" was released and then developed into a book of the same title in 2007. The successful movie and book gained widespread attention in the media from Saturday Night Live to The Oprah Winfrey Show in the United States.[2] The same year the Hickses The Law Of Attraction was on the New York Times best seller list.[25]

The success of the film and various books lead to increased media coverage. Oprah Winfrey devoted two episodes of her show to discussing the film and the law of attraction [26]. Talk show host Larry King also discussed it on his show but criticized it for several reasons. He pointed at the sufferings in the world and asked: "If the Universe manifests abundance at a mere thought, why is there so much poverty, starvation, and death?"

This is similar to a common criticism that the law of attraction only works because most of the anecdotes cited in books and movies are about people who live in a culture that has paths to allow people to overcome adversity, while this is not true for much of the world. [2]

Works focused on the law of attraction have continued to have commercial success, In August 2008, Esther and Jerry Hickses' book Money and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Health, Wealth & Happiness appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list.[27]

WRONG MISTAKE ( Pekeng Kaibigan)

environmental concern

http://www.new7wonders.com/nature/en/liveranking/

I hope my fellow Filipinos would somehow appreciate our own treasure and gift of nature.

I hope we can promote our gift of nature and not only our political problems.

Those political problems are eating the goodness of our country.

Those political issues are just influencing the world that our country is just a waste.

They are thinking that our country is just a country of empty minded leaders without the world appreciating our scenic spots.

David Cook dating Lacey Schwimmer

Rumors are abound that David Cook is dating SYTCD star Lacey Schwimmer. The romance has said to have blossomed after meeting last week during the Idol Gives Back special.

Sources have stated that David has been missing curfew and has been sneaking out during the day to meet with Lacey. Lacey is “falling hard” for the rocker and that she’s been in the audience at the Idol tapings for the last two weeks and even goes back stage to see David.

A mole says that Lacey had never watched Idol before she met David, but after the rehearsal she went home and downloaded all his performances. “She liked him even more after she realized he’s so talented,” an OK! Magazine source said.

David Cook Dating Past Idol Kimberly Caldwell

David Cook Dating Past Idol Kimberly Caldwell

This season's American Idol champ, David Cook, is dating second season alum Kimberly Caldwell.

"She's great," Cook tells
Extra. "So far, I've had a really good time with her."

Cook hasn't been shy about his interest in Caldwell. He even asked her out on the TV Guide Network.

"I'm just excited because I finally get to talk to you," he told her during an interview Wednesday night on the Idol Tonight show. "I've been hearing you say all these nice things about me all season, So I'm actually going to ask you to dinner right now."

Caldwell accepted, with a hug, telling the camera after Cook left, "I just got asked out on a date."

And while he's interested in her romantically, Cook admits he's not entirely familiar with Caldwell's music. "I knew who she was, but I can't remember a song that she sang," he told Extra. "I'm probably in the dog house now."

David Roland Cook-Biography

David Roland Cook (born December 20, 1982) is an American rock singer and songwriter. On May 21, 2008, he won the seventh season of the reality television show American Idol.

Early life

Cook was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Blue Springs, Missouri. His parents are Beth (née Frye) and Stan Cook.[2] Cook's younger brother, Andrew, is an elementary education major at the University of Central Missouri,[3] and his older brother, Adam, lives in Terre Haute, Indiana, with his wife and children.[4] Cook's parents divorced during his childhood; his mother remarried and now goes by Beth Foraker, and his father relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana.[2]

Cook's interest in music began early in life; he received his first guitar at the age of 12. He began singing in second grade, when his elementary school music teacher gave him a solo in a school choir performance. He proceeded to perform in virtually every Christmas and PTA program.[5] He also participated in choir and drama programs in middle school and high school. At Blue Springs South High School, he performed in musicals, including The Music Man, West Side Story, and Singin' in the Rain.[6][7][5] He had also been an avid baseball player during high school. After losing interest in sports, he focused more on music. He earned a theater scholarship to the University of Central Missouri, but he abandoned theater after two semesters, graduating from the school in 2006 with a degree in graphic design.[8][9] While in college, he was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa.[10] After his college graduation, he relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to pursue a career in music, telling his family, "I just want to give myself until I'm 26 years old to get a job."[11]

Musical background

Cook was the lead singer and guitarist of the band Axium from 1999 until 2006. He formed Axium in his junior year of high school with drummer Bobby Kerr. One of the band's songs, "Hold," was picked up by AMC Theatres Movie Tunes and was played before previews on over 20,000 screens nationwide.[12][13] Axium was also named one of the top 15 independent bands in the country in the "Got Milk?" independent band contest, and it was chosen as the best band in Kansas City in 2004.[14][15]

In 2006, after the breakup of Axium, Cook relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and joined the regional touring band Midwest Kings, playing guitar, bass, and singing backup vocals. He recorded one EP, Incoherent with Desire to Move On, with the band in 2006. He also worked as a bartender at several Tulsa clubs, including Blank Slate and Rehab Lounge.[9][16]

Cook released a solo independent album, Analog Heart, in 2006, the year he graduated from college.[17] It was written from 2004 to 2006, and he designed the artwork as well.[14][18] The album was chosen as the fourth-best CD released in 2006 by website Music Equals Life.[19] Cook also won the Urban Tulsa Weekly's "Absolute Best of Tulsa" award for "Best Locally Produced, Independent Album" in 2007. He had completed recording his sophomore album before his appearance on American Idol.[20] Over the weekend of April 18 to April 20, 2008, Analog Heart was listed as the number one album for "Today's Top MP3 Albums" on Amazon.com. Soon there after, the album was removed from Amazon.[21][22] His musical influences include Our Lady Peace, Alice in Chains, Big Wreck and Pearl Jam.

Post-Idol career

For the Billboard chart week of June 7, 2008, a week following Cook's American Idol victory, Cook broke several Billboard chart records. Most notable was his record shattering feat of having eleven songs debut on the Hot 100 that week, beating the previous record set by Miley Cyrus in 2006 when she had six songs debut on the chart.[37] Cook's first single, "The Time of My Life" led the pack, debuting at #3 on the Hot 100.[37] Cook's eleven charting songs also gave him the most songs by one artist on the Hot 100 of any week in the Nielsen SoundScan era (which began in 1991), and the most of any era since The Beatles placed 14 songs on the chart the week of April 11, 1964.[37] In addition, that same week Cook also broke the record for the most debuts on Billboard's Hot Digital Songs chart, where he placed 14 debut entries, the record of which was previously six set by Bon Jovi in 2007.[37] Cook's 17 entries had a combined total of 944,000 digital downloads in the first week of selling.[38]

Cook is currently due to work with Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer, Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and Jesse McCartney on his upcoming album.[39] The album is slated to release in the fall of 2008.[40]

Time of my Life

I been waiting for my dreams to turn into something I could believe in
And I'm looking for the magic rainbow on the horizon I couldn't see it
Until I let go, gave in love, watch all the bitterness burn
Now I'm coming alive body and soul
Feeling my world starts to turn

And I'll taste every moment and living out loud
I know this is the time; this is the time to be
More than a name or face in the crowd
I know this is the time; this is the time of my life
The time of my life

Holding onto things and vanish them to the air left me in pieces
But now I'm rising from the ashes finding my wings
And all that I needed was there all along within my reach
As close as the beat of my heart

And I'll taste every moment and living out loud
I know this is the time; this is the time to be
More than a name or face in the crowd
I know this is the time; this is the time of my life
The time of my life

A mouth on the edge of forever ready to roar
Keeping my feet on the ground my arms open wide faces the sun

And I'll taste every moment and living out loud
I know this is the time; this is the time to be
More than a name or face in the crowd
I know this is the time; this is the time of my life
The time of my life

More than a name or face in the crowd
I know this is the time; this is the time of my life
This is the time of my life…
The time of my life!
